Wanted: Associate Copy Director
Applies advanced knowledge, principles, company standards/practices, theories, concepts, writing ability, and copywriting skills. Helps to develop and recommend copy standards. Forecasts future internal and external needs to edit copy content for a wide variety of complex marketing applications and programs. Participates in interdepartmental brainstorms; assigns work accordingly to members of the copy team. Works to ensure the appropriate tone and voice for advertorials, native content, digital ads, and social media copy, as well as internal marketing materials. Proofreads and edits text for style and accuracy, focusing on consistency, spelling, and punctuation. Ensures factually and grammatically correct content and timely delivery. Advises copy team on issues of style and accuracy. Coordinates assigned work flows. Work involves latitude for decision-making and priority setting.
Implements activities that generally impact discrete components/processes of the work of own unit / team / projects.
Demonstrates proficiency in several areas of the professional function. Effectively resolves problems and roadblocks as they occur.
Interacts with internal and external peers and/or managers to exchange semi-complex information related to assigned activities.
Assignment of Work:
Receives work in the form of short-term assignments that often require the application of independent judgment.
Work is subject to regular supervisory review at regular intervals. Operates within the context of defined procedures.
