For the third consecutive year, Command™ Brand teamed up with Dotdash Meredith to help consumers curate spaces that reflect their lifestyles and needs, both inside and outside the home.
We produced 22 pieces of custom content, including 16 new executions across digital, social, video, and print. Additionally, evergreen content from 2021 and 2022 was refreshed and redistributed across Dotdash Meredith brands, including The Spruce, MyDomaine, Better Homes & Gardens, Real Simple, and Southern Living.
To engage audiences with relatable scenarios and reinforce the ease and versatility of damage-free Command™ Products, our team sourced a variety of creators — from a lifestyle blogger in “Curate a Collection of Wall Decor” for The Spruce to a Gen Z influencer in “How To Decorate a Dorm Room” for Southern Living — to develop and/or be featured in digital, social, video, and print executions.
Overall, custom content generated significant increases in aided awareness (+29% pts), affinity (+25% pts), and purchase intent (+25% pts). Plus, custom articles and videos exceeded engagement rate benchmarks, with one TikTok creative outperforming the benchmark engagement rate by 11.3x.
In 2023, Command™ Brand also leaned into Dotdash Meredith’s tentpole brand events, sponsoring the Real Simple Home and Southern Living Idea House. Product was integrated throughout both spaces and featured in editorial coverage across print, digital, and social — and it paid off. The Real Simple Home generated 1.1 billion impressions across all platforms, while the Southern Living Idea House generated 780 million program impressions.
